The good thing about scratch djs back then was that they didn't overdo it. The scratches acted more like percussive elements whereas today there is too much going on with the crab, orbit etc, way overdone and hard to actually hear the skill of the dj because its too robotic.

@LemCyp Man i first heard it in a mix in 85 on kiss 96 fm in richmond va.and i had to get but the name of it was never given and it toke 20 years before i heard it again and got the name of it and added it to my collection.one of the best instrunental slash bounus beats out there!
