This is a short video clip showing the interior and exterior of the youngest British Airways Concorde (number 216) which is now based at Filton, Bristol.
On the video you will notice the captains cap which was wedged into the expansion gap inside the cockpit during the final flight home, due the the contraction of the materials when the aircraft is on land the cap is now wedged there forever.
Concorde 216, the last to remain flying and the last to fly supersonically, made her final journey home to Filton on November 26th 2003 which is where this footage was taken. During her flying career, Concorde 216 had flown 18,257 hours, made 5,639 supersonic flights and completed 6,045 landings.
