Code of Student Conduct Handbook 2001 Clip

This is a blast from my past! Here's the intro and a clip of yours truly in a video for Broward County schools Code of Student Conduct Handbook shot in the summer of 2001. This aired in public K-12 schools all over the county that fall. In this bit, I play an over the top reporter that's on a remote finding students who are not abiding by the dress code.

An educational station in Ft. Lauderdale produced this video as a "special edition" of there Broward Teen News (BTN) show. The anchors in the studio are Alex Zequeira and Vanessa Alonzo. Alex and I both went to Hallandale together, that might explain why he didn't butcher my name.

I remember that we had to shoot my scene a couple of times because I kept flubbing the name of the handbook. What your watching here I believe is either my 3rd or 4th take.

There was this guy who had that mousey hair like the kid you are interviewing and he wanted to have a D.A. (which was imposssible with that suburban hybrid kind of hair) so he used an entire stick of butch wax and ran it around the sides of his head so it was like a plastic kind of thing happening and he would beat the sh*t out of anybody who said anything about it and after a week or so he was suspended.
