Are you serious with the comment homie? The UAW has handcuffed our major domestic auto makers with their outrageous benefits packages, retirement packages and overall unhealthy demands. Why should I have to pay tax money to bail out companies whose business model is antiquated whose employees are running it into the ground with unrealistic pay and benefits.

I recently bought a Honda CRV. Made in America by Non-Union Workers. I work for a Fortune 500 company, make 6 figures and have no pension! Unions are greedy jerks. How many work past 60? none. . . they pour billions of dollars to support the Democrats all over the country for over a century and now they expect the Republicans to help them out? F-them!! Capitalism means failing if your costs exceed your revenue. Disgrace. What happend to apple pie, Mom and Chevy?

I think I speak for most americans...let free enterprise work. If Chrysler, Ford, and GM fail, the competition will take up the slack. I know several people who work for Toyota and Subaru...guess what...they love their jobs, are treated fairly in compensation, and are not UAW members. This mess was solely made by the UAW and the car companies. Why do I or any other american have to bail them out. Let the free market system run its course and may the strong survive.

Will the union go on strike to get what they want, now, or will they sit, read People magazines while contractors come in and change the assembly lines and get paid to sabotage the contractors' work? They usually like to cut wires and such to keep from having to do their jobs. Also, threaten contractors that drive a foreign car.
