  • Could you also approach this topic from the perspective of the Sikhs in France please? That way there is a gender balance between the way the law impacts males and females but in two different religions.

  • @MsColdCanada, Gladly! I'll go ahead and make a video about Sikhs and look forward to your comment on it.

  • @Alisuperstar 3. Especially with those who are non Muslim you cant tell them to cover up, because the Quran clearly says let there be no compulsion in this religion. So in Islam women should cover whether its dressing western in jeans and a sweater or wearing the veil. But inmy opinion if you feel you arent ready then you shouldnt because really at the end of the day the person who looks most religious could be a total hypocrite. So i believe acting like a good Muslim is the best way togo Thanks

  • @3rabsalimush I agree with you, your points are excellent and very informative in regards to Islam. Sadly, the true version of Islam as you state is, is rarely in practice in the real world however. I know that in Egypt and Lebanon some women do not cover up. However that is more so due to a laxity, (in my opinion), due to a lesser strict attitude towards religion, rather than actually being a form of moderation.

  • @Alisuperstar 2. you and God, therefore nobody should really force you to cover up as it is something that you should do for yourself and will hopefully benefit you later on. The Quran does say for women to cover up though and even men cannot show certain parts( navel to the knee) So in my opinion it should be something that you feel you are ready to do and people who are non-muslims should not be told to cover up. Ex Lebanon 40% christian the women dont cover up or Egypt 10 % women dont cover

  • @3rabsalimush In other words, countries like Egypt and Lebanon are more moderate not because they are directly following the Islamic principle of moderation, but rather because they simply aren't really that closely adhering to Islam at all (in comparison with stricter countries like Saudi Arabia). In countries, like Saudi, that actually are following Islam, they are going overboard, and forcing women to cover up (even non-muslim women), and not even letting them drive cars.

  • @AliSuperstar The reason why Saudis don't let women drive and etc is because they are a monarchy who maintains close ties with the west. And if they gave freedom to its people; they would loose power. You seem to have this believe that most Muslim leaders treat its people bad because of Islam. It's not, it's purely worldly interests i.e. to have power etc. You understand where I am coming from? Some people are good and some are bad.

  • You cannot say you support freedom religion, and at same time make laws that prevent people from practicing their religion. It's hypocrisy. Pure and simple, who doesn't agree, and why? Let's be reasonable and respectful.

  • go France!!!

  • Fuck France!!! They kiss Israel`s ass!!!

  • @AliSuperstar 6. Therefore i conclude with saying that Islam is not against modernation but if one is Muslim then they should try to follow their religion. Also just because a country (ex Saudi Arabia) looks like a religious country doesnt neccsarily mean everything they do is based on Islam or some of the laws they inforce are based arent based on hypocracy. Ill say this again the most religious looking person could end up being a total hypocrite. Belief in religion is most imporatant

  • @AliSuperstar 5. years ago in Islam but yet Saudi doesnt allow women to vote. why well thats something youre gonna have to ask them. lol. Under sharia law non-muslims are protected by the dhimmi law meaning they cannot be persecuted, houses of worship cannot be demolished or they cannot be forced to do anything Islamic such as covering up. Obviously though if u are in Saudi arabia you shouldnt be walking around in a bikini because thats not the norm of that society.

  • @AliSuperstar 4. working woman. The whole woman cant drive in Saudi Arabia, that has no reference to Islamic sources, really it has nothing to do with Islam. The only thing that can come close to Islam when talking about women driving in Saudi is one scholar said that the reason we dont allow women to drive is to keep them safe but he did not back that with religious reference, its basically the people in powers opinion, as with many other things. Women were given the right to vote 1400 years

  • @AliSuperstar 3. believe as Islam does that everyone should have the right to education as statedin the Quran (39:9,35:28) But Saudi Arabia years many years after the prophets death did not allow women go to school until 1962. Women can also work under Islam but many women dont get jobs or jobs of high position. Khadijah the prophets wife was a very successful merchant the prophet actually used to work for her and they would do bussiness tgethor. This is a perfect Islamic example of a working

  • @AliSuperstar 2.But rather this is an issue that some people have created who have power in the Middle-East and use some religious texts to support their opinions that they emplace on society. I do agree with some of the points you have made. Women in some Muslim countries are denied many right. Over 1400 Islam gave women the right to vote, seek further education, right to divorce, right to own property, but unfortunately we dont see some of that in Muslim countries. I as a woman personaly
