I got 2430mAh battery... AND IT'S REGULAR SIZE! Hahaha It's the size of the normal battery and its 2430mAh.. BAM.

i dont understand why the size of a battery need to change and get bigger to have a more power capacity. while the sd or micro sd.. it can have a bigger and bigger memory capacity without changing its look and size...

@dre109offishall noh ohhh misunderstanding thier i was saying that if ur battery wont charge in the first place just buy a universal charger cuz now HTC doesnt make batteries for g1 but u can buy an extended one if u want

@johndomondon so your telling me that i do not need to buy one of those extended batteries, all i would need is an universal charger and that would make my normal g1 battery last longer/ like it use to be?

aight thanks man but i found a solutio n to my prob they recogmend a universal charger but i didnt follow that i just had a old phone and it has the same 3 pins(the batter sa like 3 things on it and the phone has like 3 pins so used that to charge my battery then it has like half way full i pluged the battery to g1 and it work u dont need to but a new battery u accendentally drained ur battery and it doesnt want to charge dont waste ur money just do the same thing i did

BTW - i think the slower drain I mentioned is due to some optimizations in RC33. I used a stock battery as a back-up the other day, and it seemed to drain slower than before.
