Our Perception changes

Is it our perception that is changeing, our someone or somebody holding us back. We live on a planet we dont understand, we havent explored, this planet have a past we are haveing trouble decodeing or learning off. buildings that are 10.000 years old, humans are suposed to be liveing in caves not building monuments or temples, or are the research wrong, or are someone just telling us another story. I feel there are way to many insidents to be coinsidence. the question is not who, where or what. the question is "why witholding knowlegde" that could boost our species.
