ALSO.... it may be difficult to accept about the earth growing, because we live here. why don't these people actually go to Neal's website and look at his other videos of other celestial bodies that are doing the same thing?? its pretty conclusive. I KNOW... it's much easier to go to the trouble to make your own video to mock him, than to consider the possibility that you've been wrong. and you only "know" what you "know" because its what you've been taught.

@jessemaurais if you go back to the biblical model of early earth history, u'll see that it didn't rain then. God caused the water to come up as a mist from the ground. all the water was UNDER GROUND. if you don't want to take the bible's word for you, I myself several years ago saw something on the discovery channel about the appalachian mountains and how they were formed. long story short, the scientists believed there was another crust layer and that the upper crust in a sense "floated"

UNFORTUNATELY... science does not work that way. it has an agenda. like global warming for example. remember how there was gona be this huge international treaty to tax people for breathing and farting because CO2 was causing global warming? and at the last minute it was proven that the scientists FALSIFIED the data? OBAMA wanted to sign ANYWAY. why? because of MONEY. and your three methods of expansion are: chemical reaction, thermal expansion, and tension release.

Ask yourself what reason the thousands of scientists worldwide would have to turn down fame and fortune for overturning the previous model. That's part of what drives science. Looking at observations and interpretations and asking "Can this be proven wrong?"

i see the old "where does the extra mass come from?" argument. it's silly. there's lots of ways to make matter expand without increasing the number of atoms. stupid comments like that reveal dogmatic brainwashing, not free thinking open-mindedness. it follows the footsteps of the flat earth theory. and that the earth was the center of the universe. people were BURNED for proclaiming that falsehood. the ENTIRE UNIVERSE is expanding. why can't the earth?

@Meeks861 actually, just for the record, I'm aware of that theory. Also, What I was refering to is also a theory, the theory I was talking about is similar to yours, it stats that a meteor hit the earth and brought 1000s of mineral (I think the main one was carbon, but don't quote me on it) from this is where the atmospere came from, it rained and rained and created the oceans (not all at once, but over millions of years) life then came to be sometime later. That's all I think anyway

@Dominodude55 The origin of life is still unkown in the scientific community, one theory that exists however was that an asteroid collided with the earth creating the first life and was incubated underneath the surface where it was safe from the harsh elements of early earth. Its not set in stone that all life evolved from water, but it could be the case. not sure though, sorry. look into the theories on the origin of life, which of course is separate from the theory of evolution.
