  • I dont agree hes a bad player in that spot. Who wouldnt call you down with a set of 8s. I can see if he had 98 he could get away from that. What the sense of calling with 8s hitting trips on the flop and then folding them. He could have just as easily put you on AK.

  • tip : go all in when you have the nuts

  • im all in with 88 every time!!

  • The main point here is that everyone will surely realize that you are actually bluffing regularly. They will think how much you are bluffing, and then start second guess themselves.

  • this works especially well on someone who is having a good run. his confidence level is through the roof and he feels invincible. he has been bullying the table and your shove will look like you are just fed up with his aggression and are trying to get him off his hand with whatever holdings you have.i used this today on bodog. i had the nut flush draw on the flop and foe was betting small out of position, and giving me odds. i floated and hit the spade i needed on the river.betting fast helps.

  • Often a bad player there will call and think hero can only have a pair Q like AQ and doesnt wanna believe hero has a set, all in there will make it look like a steal or like hero is pot comitted with top pair top kicker. This works esp. with deep stack (>200bb).

  • 3rd he will never lay down a middle set there and will call a check raise down, be he good or bad player, and chances that he call the check raise is higher than he call a pure push out of pot odds there. Unless he is an extreme rock fish, who never bets actively, a check raise is more proper here i think.

All in over bet is more suitable in this situation: hero 9T, villain KK, flop Q99, villain bet, hero calls, turn 2, villain c-bet, hero goes all in .

  • think we should check raise all in in that situation. 1st, if villain bust with flush draw, a check induce his bluff bet on river (and will fold with busted draw when we go all in), 2nd, he will check behind with middle pair and fold 99% to an all in with middle pair but will often value bet there with top pair and decent kicker and often call a check raise behind there too,

  • Wait until you see me PokeHer Face =P

  • Wow this is an awesome video man. When it first started, I was thinking "yea whatever buddy" but man well done, this is great. Also, as I'm playing this, I'm playing on full tilt 5cent/10cent blinds.... anyways, Im not really paying attention, just kinda playing killing time. I get 33 on the button, I flat call.. big blind, checks, flop comes 3JJ. he checks, I bet pot. he raises to $1, I call. Turn comes A, he bets $1, i go all in, he turns over J4, i win. I would have tried a small bet usually!
