@2009Bolero He's actually dead right. People in concert hall need to be hyped with corny advertisement, words like "legend of jazz", "one of the best of his generation",and what not to turn up to a 50 bucks entry, velour padded environment. People in the clubs are jazz heads. The could go and see some dude nobody ever heard about and sit on wooden chairs drinkin' cheap beer all night: they got the capability of LISTENIN' how bad the cat is cause they actually listen to jazz all day.

Is there more of this anywhere?

The reason why jazz is not mainstream is because the media pump out rubbish all day to the people, head banging, you name it. In the Caribbean islands, they feed them with country and western

there is a higher purpose for mankind. people of this ability and talent know this internally. This whole time of consciousness we are experiencing is not for nothing!

I think it's s shame that he thinks people in concert halls don't really know what he's doing. I think they do otherwise they wouldn't turn up.
Yea, agreed on that Branford. Look at Herbie Hancock's Grammy award winning album which sold about 50-60 thousand copies (which is great) vs the Black Eyed Peas who sold about 4 million for basically a drum machine with some grunting and screaming in the background.
