ok I understand that, the point was considering the speed of the computers at the time and the speed of ISP's this was about as good as you could expect from an online community. People are looking at this judging from todays standards all I was saying was they couldn't do then what can be done now.

FPS is not connected to connection speed. FPS stands for "Frames Per Second," and is a measure mainly of your computer hardware's capability to draw imagery on the screen. Today, it almost exclusively refers to and is used to refer to 3D gaming or other 3D applications, since computers have absolutely no trouble nowadays outputting 2D graphics.

Dumbass for the time this was going this was groundbreaking. No other online gaming/social service even came close, as for FPS it was played using what was at the time 9600 baud modems for most people what did you expect at that speed? False sense of socialization? uh here you are posting on utube yeah there's real socialization for ya.
