Huang Hai-Dai represents Taiwan culture just as Walt Disney represents the culture in United States. The Legendary puppet master was responsible not only for transforming the ancient art of budaixi(puppetry), but also for establishing its success as a form of mass entertainment at the start of the new millennium. He is no doubt the king of Taiwanese puppetry.
