Why are the majority of individuals opposed to government run health care, which coincidentally is not in the bill (public option, single payer), receiving government run health care (medicare)? Why are we so afraid of government yet bend over backwards for corporations?

@rubearo wow i posted that 3 months ago, great job neglecting that fact.

@heavenslilstangel yeah, i agree, this guy is a total failure..i will be glad to see them all gone come november...and they actually think the people will forget by november vote them back in...they are that crazy for sure

@carneykid30 don't you just wish......this government and this healthcare are simply garbage...seems like your angry white republicans are the only people in this country with enough sense to figure this scam out...and all those thousands and thousands of tea partiers, who libs are scared to death of...i bet in november, all those angry white republicans along with the angry tea party and the angry democrats will let you know where you stand

Lots of great questions here. Too bad I wasn't aware of this meeting. I need to get more involved in these Honesdale TownHall meetings. This is more about our 10th amendment and should not be a Federal issue since it is unconstitutional.

nothing but a bunch of angry white republicans with nothing else to do.

Baseless complaints & no solutions
The facts:
We spend more than any other industrialized country & get less for it
Over 1/2 of all bankruptcy in US is linked to medical debt-80% of those people had insurance!
Small business & their employees are being squeezed to cough up more and more money for less coverage
Trust me when I tell you that care is being rationed NOW. People choose between their homes & their lives
Here in Honesdale your neighbors are struggling!

the bill is 198 pages less than Tolstoy's War and Peace

carney is such an elitist. He keeps telling people to read the bill.
Problems with that:
1. Most Americans who have real jobs that actually produce wealth are too busy to sit down and read a 1000+ page bill.
2. The bill's authors purposefully use vague language that can be interpreted in many different ways.
3. Not included in the bill are the 1000+ pages of information that actually explain the vague language in the bill.
Carney is deceitful. Shame on us for electing him!

our reps are lawyers...they won't vote for tort reform.
If Democrats, Republicans, Independents, etc vote for this bill you will all be voted out of office.
