i was at his first nhl game, and on his first shift he went end to end and almost scored....but the crowd was in awe..... no one has come along since him that's even close to as exciting.....not even close

wow, i wish i was born a few years earlier so i could watch this guy, incredible take off speed... great puck control, stick to skate skate to stick stick to net... incredible

One of the things Ovechkin and Bure/Fedorov have in common that really sets them apart is their ability not only to deke very well...but do it going full speed and blowing past people.

I was at that game, behind the Boston goalie, and in the corner. I had the perfect vantage point to see that amazing goal. It was probably the best razzle-dazzle goal I've seen in real life.
