this song has been done by so many artists..my favs....other than smokey.....5 stairsteps, ..heard the delfonics sing it live in richmond va back in the early 70s..... the version done by todd rundgren was good for the rock and roll crowd.....we need more musicianship.....motown was sad they did not have these guys in house..great post

I love this version......I have an original worn out copy on the windy C label, and excellent and underrated group.....they do a wonderful version of this smokey song....he should be proud of the Burke siblings....Peace
