CNN Panel on Hitler and Obama's Health Care Reform

A panel discussion on whether or not linking President Obama's policies to Adolf Hitler is simply rhetoric, or something more serious.

The first thing David Frum points out is that Obama and Hitler do share a lot of things in common, and plugs a website called obamaisliterallyhitlet.com, which he calls "a funny website".

"The nuttier you are, the more coverage you get," says Clarence Page.

And Dana Bash says that such people linking Obama to Hitler lack "fundamental policy questions."

@JMS13579 So first of all you fucking moron: Germans never voted for a dictatorship - But the constitution of the first democratic Germany (1918-1933) had too many gaps which basically allowed the chancellor to cancel it after a declaration of martial law, what Hitler did less than two month after he was declared chancellor!

That means: There wasn`t a german parliament, congress or whatever you might call it in 1939...

Hitler wasn`t a lawyer - He worked as an artist in Austria and Germany before he became a soldier in World War I.

Hitler didn`t start World War II by manipulating the german "congress" - Shortly after Hitler became elected chancellor in 1933, the german parliament building (which is since 1999 again seat of the german parliament) was burned which lead to Hitler declaring "martial law" (also in 1933)!

Man, Hitler sure became the reference for huge evil comparison everywhere. They're not even trying. What about Caligula or Pol Pot? They're good comparisons too!

Also, let's be honest. It's kind of being a dick saying this to Obama while not saying this to Bush that, despite still feeling it to be too big an insult, deserves it way more.
