Florida Splendid China, a $100 Million theme park which opened in 1993 on 76 acres just West of the main entrance to Walt Disney World. The park consisted of accurate scale models of some of that China's most interesting architectural and cultural sites. The park closed December 31, 2003. Update 2009

How couldn't you find something to skate in China? We went there, and all around us was stuff to skate. Is it really bulldozed now?

yea, actually there were 4 stairs and 3 foot ledges and 2 stairs there.

It's sad to see what the park has turned into. It's now a playground for criminals and vandals. I don't care if you skate there, but vandals should be shot.

It's Ironic this place became more popular for the break-ins and skateboarding than for what it was purposely built for. I could have done without chipping the buildings away, and i frown upon it, but I envy you for being there, even if it is stripped and wasted.
