  • Hi there, I have shared on my facebook fanspage your video. Please let me know if there is any concern, thanks.

  • Is eco-fashion inherently oxymoronic? I've heard Jill mention 'fast-fashion' several times, recognising the status quo of the fashion industry - products with a seasonal life-span that quickly expires with the onset of emotional obsolescence. I was wondering what ecouterre were doing to promote emotionally durable design that retains a lifespan as long as it's physical one. Is it better to stick with old jeans than keep than keep up with eco-fashions ? Regards, environments student.

  • Now don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of the Inhabitat crew and the admiral work they do promoting sustainable design. However, i find it difficult to come to terms with the concept 'eco-fashion'. I fully understand that by sourcing sustainable materials and employing ethical, organic and low-energy methods of manufacturing designers are able to create a product containing little embodied environmental impact. This section of the life-cycle analysis makes perfect sense.
