I hate how they cut short the original video from the really cool build-up that the band does before Bruce comes in on the vocals and requests quiet from the audience.

@iucubs70 Really? You never heard THE ENTIRE HUMAN TOUCH album besides the title track?
-
@mynthon11 I doubt it. For the US, Oakland is DEFINITELY first, followed by LAPD. The death of Giallo was tragic, not pre-planned. In Oakland, you can see it execution style.

NYPD : A ONE STATISTIC...Its most corrupt PD in WORLD.

Most of you are incorrect. Although his skin color was a stimulus, the shooting wasn't solely based on the fact that he was black. The cops stopped him because they ignorantly thought 'hey, a black man, he must be the serial rapist'. They then violently approached him, which scared Amadou, so he ran for cover, thinking that if he showed them his wallet containing his ID, they would realize their mistake. But they assumed the black item in his hand was a gun, and proceeded to shoot '41 shots'....

@iucubs70 Then you must like guiliani's mouth on your cock.

@300mrmofo I really hate defending the NYPD. But how would you know? Really?

Bruce is a hell of a singer he's really great at singing.
@MrSorland While I agree that this is a beautiful song, the discussion of the event that inspired it isn't irrelevant. If it was, why would he write the song. Amadou Diallo was not a threat, he was an innocent man, a hard-working immigrant, shot dead in the streets, simply beacuse the color of his skin. If we don't consider the facts of racism and police brutality, we'll never get rid of them.
