Hitler wasn't an atheist for the millionth time. Read Mein Kampf. And any atheist that commits crimes don't do it BECAUSE they're atheist. Atheism has no content. Hitler and Stalin just used another form of dogma like nationalism or racism that are too much LIKE religion. Ideas like demanding evidence for beliefs and using reason, logic and science do not generate mass murderers.

I would assume that the 'memory' of 'death' would be similar to... before you were 'born'..? The molecules of the elements that make your specific human form will 'return' to the universe.. and the odds of them ever forming again in the same pattern as 'you' is as close to 0 as you can imagine...?

There's no reason with trying to convince these people. Once someone thinks they see a flying saucer, you can try to convince them otherwise, but you can't. You can try to convince them that women don't have penises, but you can't

His opening statement does *not* define what it means to be an atheist. Atheists don't "know there is no god". The just don't believe there is a god. It might seem like a small distinction to some, but there is a difference. Now I'll listen to the rest of the vid...... :)

I actually think it has had more of a negative impact on the masses. It might be a positive thing for ONE person, or one family, but for people on the whole it has been seriously negative. Technology would be more advanced if not for the dark ages. A lot of wars are based on religious belief. It serves to separate us. Even within the Christian community you have warring factions. Protestants and Catholics hate each other. Religion slows progression with the promise of eternal bliss.
