Sorry but according to my constitution those rights aren't there. The only phones being tapped were those receiving overseaas calls. To the naysayers, I would argue that if the intelligence agencies are collecting data on everyone, how would you know it?

And if they apply the law "selectively", Joe-Establishment might never feel the effects! But someone that disagreed with the gov't might!

Just ask J. Edgar Hoover how he maintained a grip on the FBI for so long? DOSSIERS on his political enemies! Could the intelligence agencies potentially control the government with dossiers (i.e. blackmail)? That's why it's so dangerous!
