  • Oh btw.. they like to pass the Mantide off as italian. What they did was get a hold of Jason Castriota. An american / Italian that used to work for the real supercar industry in Italy and is therefore a god among men in USA where they dont really have a upper car industry at all. The car is just a re-dressed completely normal Corvette. Except now it costs 2 million dollars and looks like a storm troopers helmet. But not in a cool way.

  • @cabbagesftw

They use old Corvette engines. Not because they are best in the woooorld but exactly because they are cheap and available and there are already exsisting parts out there to put them at any state of tune. Again because its CHEAP. So how do they justify the price when every single part right down to the cupholders is taken out of other cars. They made NOTHING themselves even tho they like to claim to have done.

  • @Janusha I think those cars are so expensive because they have over 1200 hp, and I'm sure all of the parts of the car need to be top of the line to handle it. Isn't the mantide italian though?

  • @cabbagesftw

Its funny to me... How americans always complain how expensive European supercars are. But when they make their own, they just restyle an old Corvette and ask 20 times the price for it. Or how about the Hennessey Venom GT kit-car with a Corvette engine for 1,2 million. Or the ridiculous SSC Aero that costs 650 000 dollars. No wonder they never manage to actually sell any of these things.

  • @Janusha Actually its like 20x the corvette price, 2 million.

  • @WielderOfTheSteel

Its Jason Castrota who is now a god among men in america after having worked for Pininfarina and learnt how to design supercars. This car is just a redressed Corvette. Ugly as hell and they want twice the Corvette price for it. It never became anything obviously. Its just a bodyshell on a Corvette. Nothing spectacular.

  • @MORCOPOLO0817 They only speak for like 20s throughout the whole video. Quit being a dickhead.

  • @jhgarcia90 Because europeans are our bitches

  • ugly ass front engine car. And this guy Jason comes off as a pretentious, self loving egotist! With that phony motorist era hat of his!

  • It looks like the Bat Mobile's retarded cousin...
