This brings back memories, as little kid i used to go to Wolsztyn with my dad just to watch steams for hours, back in early 90's. Feels great to see them again, thx for posting this :)

I was there around that week (cant remember the exact dates) doing the Wolsztyn Exp with some of my collegues from The North Norfolk Railway. We had a great time and could well have been on some of the loco's in these shots. A nice memory of a great week.
Poland still uses steam in normal service right?

Hi,
If they are running at Wolsztyn, a few passenger trains per day to Poznan are still pulled by steam. Of course it's actually a museum operation, without special funding steam would have gone years ago, but the steam trains are of course regular commuter traffic.
Cheers,

The OL49 is so handsome and graceful! Pity the guy with the noisy shutter kept following you around!!!!
