  • I was in Warminster from 1988-2006 - I'm now in the Sellersville/Perkasie area. Mom lives near Hershey, where you also get a lot of NS action.

If you do go to Horseshoe Curve outside Altoona, it's worth the trip. There are two affiliated museums there including one at the Curve itself.

You can ride a funicular or walk up nearly 200 steps up to the viewing area, where you can hear the railroad radio banter.

You not only have NS action at the Curve, you also have Amtrak there, too!

  • I lived in Warminster for 18 years (2 blocks from Mearns & Ivyland Rds.).

You're talking about a 240-mile trip each way to Altoona, Blair County, PA from my old address. I'd wait until your 3-year-old is at least 7 or 8.

  • Hey, Thats looks like an AWESOME place to watch an listen to heavy throttle powering uphill diesels!! Can you please tell me where that is. If it's anywhere near Warminster, Pa I'm takin my 3 year old. Thanks!
