The head of New York's FBI office says scores of Long Island Rail Road employees may have cheated their way to big pensions as part of a massive fraud. All told, the fraud could cost more than a billion dollars. (Oct. 27)

New York is the most corrupt state in America. I suspect every major New York official is a political favor peddler, their actions smell like unlawful dead fish. Mayor Bloomberg and Ray Kelley staged a fake terror dirt dud hoax in Times Square to save 2000 Transit cops jobs that had already recieved pink slips. The New York Mayor and Police Commissioner are more corrupt than these Long Island Rail Road employees, supported by the NY FBI, which works for the DOJ which works for President.

@rodpowder The consumer makes it possible not the worker. The market is drive by supply and demand. No demand for trains, no workers needed.

I live in NY and I am not surprised by any of the scandals that take place here, with a few exceptions this place is run by total crooks

"The fish rots from the head". Given the example of the ruling elites why is it any surprise that regular folks go criminal. At least they do it to survive instead of bankrolling mistress's, sports cars and 'the good life'.
