Thats a beautiful vw. I own a 1969 vw beetle I'm working on. It still needs a little more engine work before it can be a daily driver. I picked it up for a 100 dallors off a family friend.

all bugs are basicly the same. Only the body changed. In my opinion they are one of the easiest, funest, and cheapest cars to work on. The later years do have ball joint front suspension and the motors are a little bigger. Other than that its like I said, still the same basic car. I wish you luck on your bug search, if you find one, you'll be very happy with it!

Are these 69' years good to work with or work on? I wana get a bug but whats the worst one. or what should i stay away from. was thinking of a 64 or 69.. but dont know. Any 2cents?
