@gutzywoman The Australians played a major part in WW2. They are sort of the unsung heroes. It is great that they also celebrate the day, too. There is so much more history out there then there is time to research. It is all very interesting.

Did you know that Australia celebrates it on the same day but they call it Remembrance Day instead of Veteran's Day.
