This should be watched in HD or 480 so the music will be stereo. The PSR is not very mono compatible :-(
This is my second video I made with the Kodak Zi8. This time I used a stronger light source (300 W) and turned off the TL, because it reflected in the keyboard. This is as far as I can get away from the keyboard with the camera. However, the focus is not very good, but I am not dissatisfied with the result.
I used the line output of the keyboard to record it on my computer with Wavelab. The phone output of the keyboard was connected to the mic-in of the Zi8, so I could synchronise the two soundtracks, remove the
video soundtrack and use the wavelab file. I edit with Magix Video deluxe 16.
I have been composing for many years and recently I had another look at some of the old stuff. This song, "Peace is so hard to believe in", I made on guitar and I added lyrics. I'm not good at all in writing lyrics so I thought it was a better idea to orchestrate this song on my PSR-3000.
I liked the style "Chillout", espescially because of the rhythmic change in variation 4, which was exactly right for what I had written in 1972. I tried to mix it with other 6-8 styles, but that didn't work.
I use the multipads as on-board sequencers. I recorded the multipads in real time and didn't edit it (except for volume), because editing is very problematic. Multipads are not made for this purpose. Maybe I should have a look at other keyboards, like the Yamaha Motif XS6 - or MM which is a bit cheaper ;-)
Because I wrote this song in 1972 and I had a professional photo from that year I added it to the video. Yep, I looked like that ;-)
Usually I play a long time at the end, building up an improv, but for the video I kept it short. Once I found myself playing Eleonor Rigby (1966) at the end, which I kept in as a joke although this time it didn't came quite as natural.
Great peace of music. I had never heard of this until now, how many other songs have you composed? Congrats on a great piece.

@dprod1 Thanks. I didn't compose many songs, about 30 or so.
