Prophet Daud (s/w) used to play and sing songs during his prophecy.Having said this,we as Muslims believe in 4 books not 5 as some says. Not a lot of people know which book was revealed to prophet Daud (s/w). Zabur was revealed to Daud (s/w) which Jews are practicing Zabur and believes in this book. When you read this book, you can see Daud (s/w) did indeed sing songs as he saw birds singing along with him.So know your religion and singing a song is not sin unless it has bad words or harm someone

this is one only for you M if u ever listen to this song

@afgjoe From a logical aspect, only poems are allowed, not songs. We can't even recite surah's in form of songs.. The only instrument that was used by Muslims was a drum with no internal department even though they had many in those days. The only song tthat was sang was when the prophet was returning from Medina to Meeca in which the people made this song for him- doesnt give right to music listening. I love music, but I belive that music changes the e-mon, rather good music or bad music.

BacheHamsaya--if you see or talk to Said Omar, let him know that Allah (s) is not against music or song. During Selmon (salat wa salam) he sing so many songs for Allah (s) and you can find his history in 4 books which we believe.

Great poem from the Late Sarwar Dayqan... Even though he did not write much but most of his poems are out of this world!! Omar jan your soothing voice has done great justice to his poem!

Salam .
Said Omar jan, hamrai hameen aahang 1000 sal zanda bashy.
Said Omar decided to discontinue his music career and pursue his dedication to Islam a few years ago. Though his music did not encompass profane language condusive to that which would be deemed haram, it was his opinion to bring his career to a halt.
