For newcomers to the assassination, the official "Warren Commission" found that a bullet hit JFK and it passed through him and struck Connally. It was then "discovered" when it rolled off Connelly's cart, according to the commission, after falling out of his leg wound. This is that "magic bullet" that appears intact in pictures.

Obviously, if the bullet is still in C's leg after surgery, either the governor's leg has a supply of missiles like a gumball machine, or their "report" is garbage.

Good God I've never seen/heard this before! I have never heard this even brought up in debates about the single bullet theory! Left thigh!!?? Now this is a Chief surgeon and very unlikely to make a statement of this kind w/o absolute certainty! This is a game changer for me--I have always been a conspiracy doubter--but no more!!!

It was said because it was the truth. CE399 was plant, there was at least two gunmen, it was a conspiracy.... find a way to deal with it.

@Moralityman Becasue "they" didn't think that far ahead. Whoever planted the bullet figured that even if a pristine bullet was found they could still prove that it was fired from the Carcano. Even if it missed it could still implicate LHO.

Since a bullet is still in J.Connallys' leg it couldn't have possible been the same bullet found on the stretcher.
