This is where my family and I spent our Disney vaction this year (February 2011) after staying here last year also. We stayed here in the Barbados Area after staying in the Jamaica area in 2010.

This video is an addition/video response to my video I posted last year of the Caribbean Beach Resort so you can get another idea of the resort from a different area.

I started out in the area of our room and filmed a couple areas there and then headed up to the pool area. Then I walked to the lake area and just filmed a couple spots on my way up to the food court. It is a great resort to stay at and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. My family and I are staying at this resort in January. We are staying in the pirate rooms which are newly redone and my little brother is very excited. We have stayed in Pop century but I wanted to stay somewhere nicer this year because this may be our last year going as a family based on the ages of us kids. (17, 14 and 7) Again, thanks for this video! I hope that you had a nice vacation there with your family. We can't wait!!!!

  • @MissJessicaCouture You will love it :-) I have been in the Pirate rooms myself, another family member stayed in one while we were there. The only negative, if you want to call it that, is that all the Pirate rooms are the furthest from the Food Court. I hope you all have the time of your life at Disney :-) Come back and tell us about your trip.. We are planning another one next year also!

  • I missed this one out. I like the Resort - it looks so Caribbean. I will definitely use it when I go. I like that it spread out and you can have some quiet time, when you need it. That is really great information you provided. Thank you for that Chris.

  • @my35Xvision Disney has so many resorts you can stay at and at many different price ranges. All the ones we have stayed at have been real nice and have just made the vacation that much better. Best quiet times around the resorts are midday when most guest are out at the parks. Watch for an upcoming video from me in which I will show two more resorts from a boat ride we took from Disney's Port Orleans Resort and French Quarter Resort to Downtown Disney.

  • I am staying at this resort in August, I can not wait.. thank you for sharing. Is there an area of the hotel you recomend to stay? I don't like rooms too far from the main entraince...

  • @dbernal10 Well I would say that this area here (Barbados Area) is the closest to the main entrance, we could see the building where you check in from our room and that building is near the front entrance. This resort is large and different though because the building you check in at is all alone by itself, most resorts at Disney have the check in where the food court, game room and gift shops are. We were not able to choose which area we wanted to stay either time we stayed here either.

  • @MoviesMusicNature Thank you Chris. :)

  • @kookiemoose From the two times we have stayed here at Caribbean Beach it has never been a real happening place unless you go to the food court for breakfast and a later dinner when most guests start coming back from the parks.. It is a HUGE resort also and very spread out so everyone isn't on top of each other either. We were here in February both times also and that isn't the most busiest time at Disney, which is nice.

  • A rather quiet place in the morning. Everyone must be sleeping in. Nice.

  • @lmmsl It's a very nice resort Menu :-) I like visiting Disney and my 82 year old Father just loves Disney. The last few years it's been special to go down there with him and some other family members and just enjoy our stay down there, especially when it Wintertime up here ;-) Lots of wildlife around the resort but I'm so caught up with other things and the sights you kind of miss filming those, maybe next time.. Thanks for your comment!
