Foothill High School students Matt Richardson and Myles Davis raced the "Social Cow-mentary cow in the Sept. 20 Racing of the Cows competition in downtown Pleasanton, Calif. This and a dozen other cut-out, colorfully-decorated cows are part of the city's celebration of the restoration of its Alviso Adobe, a 150-year-old historic building used by Ohlone Indiana, Spanish land owners and early settlers.

in races Saturday (Sept. 20) in downtown Pleasanton, Calif., in a festive prelude to an Oct. 4 Udderly community dinner to benefit the Museum On Main and the citys new Alviso Adobe restoration and community park, to be opened later that month. Pleasanton North Rotary Club was the winner.
