tbh I have never heard of SP before Leona covered this song but now I'm glad Leona shared they're music with me cuz I like them now. So why hate Leona? Be happy someone talented covered it imagine if it was anyone else.. Leona Lewis you are brave

Whitout the backround of the musiccompanies she would'nt be noone, so it is not here talent, it is the interesst behind why SHE get international. There are a lot of talented people out there even better than she, but... as you know they are selected for some reasons. Lewis!!!!! She just fits in the system of the companies

As a man aged 60, I've heard so many remakes and versions of the same song, far too many nowhere near as good as the original. However, in this case, in my opinion, Snow Patrol... Great. Leona Lewis....Great. Like 2 different songs as a result of the interpretation and delivery. By the way; Leona Lewis, as a result of her version, bought Snow Patrol to the attention of a much wider and older audience than they would otherwise had. Here Endeth My Opinion!

I think there is a single version and also an album version. Our radio station plays the longer album version. And normally when they play it live it's also the full version.

@liambrawley I don't know how you can call Leona talentless. Just because she used other mediums to find her success does not undermine her talent. Snow Patrol themselves said Leona "touched hearts" with this version. She didn't sent out to mimic it, she set out to interpret in her own, different way. I hate musical snobbery, particularly narrow-minded musical snobbery.
