Big John never was one to win by 10 lengths, but he always seemed to get the job done.I always loved watching him with that shadow roll. You knew he was getting ready to really run when that shadow roll really moved up & down. R.I.P. John Henry you will never be forgotten. Now I know you are up there showing everyone who you are.

My dad worked for Close friends of john henry's owners...they had a HUGE picture of John Henry in there house. Magnificent horse...thank you for uploading this! :D

saw him at kentucky horse park twice before he passed.smart,smart horse.he was the star of the show.spent over an hour with him and his caretaker.the stories she told us about this magnificent animal.god bless john henry!

i dont know anything about this stuff but my dad always said he really liked this horse that it really had personality, if another horse came up beside him he would pin his ears back and really dig
