Our puppy Bernese Mountain Dog, Bella jumped in once a few weeks ago, but since has only flirted with the idea of swimming. Here, we coax her in a couple of times. And, live with the consequences.

So cute! Berners are not swimmers but she did so well. My Berner, Maggie, jumped out of the boat while on the lake and was only using her front paws to paddle, my stepson had to jump in to save her. Scared the fur right off her and now she stays away from the water for the most part. LOL! Have to invest in a life jacket for her now.

So cute! My berner boy would sure love that pool. He's a great swimmer, I can't get him out of the ocean in the summer. Go Bella Go :0)

I did this with my Berner with good intentions and she hasn't come near the pool in six years ! Those webbed feet are for snow, not water...LOL
