Oxford's premier angler, spot the fake. See The Oxford Mail, March 3rd 2007.
Just a few lines to explain to those not in "the know"
Roger, a well known practical joker, famous for shall we say, wind-ups, appeared in our local paper, The Oxford Mail. The article, along with an accompanying photo, told of the capture, by Roger, of a not inconsiderable fish from a local river. Now, knowing Roger's track record, his friends and workmates were pretty sceptical about the photo in the article and questioned whether it was a genuine picture or a computer generated image. You may think it would be impossible to fool a well respected newspaper into printing a picture that was suspect. Or is it, who knows? Hence, the slide-show. One of the pictures is of the fish from the article; the others are from various sources and have been "adapted" a little. The question is, can you spot the "real" fish and which are the fakes? It's not as straight forward as you might think! Decide for yourself.
Please feel free to leave a comment, I'm sure Roger will appreciate it, NOT!
Oh and the music, that's from the 1960's children's TV show Tales of The Riverbank, featuring Hammy Hamster and Roderick the Rat.
