@VZIPTEAM Macs don't crash. And they only crash when kernel panic shows up. I had a freeze once, but it got away.

@grandmastgarth The only thing i don't like Windows 8 is how it is much more touch centric. Although it works good with keyboard and mouse combinations (I have tried the Developer Preview), i still can't get use to the Start Screen. It bothers me that i have to go back and forth from Start Screen and my desktop. Beside that, i like Windows 8. Hopefully, i can get use to Windows 8. In the main time, i will use my PCs and Macs.... I don't hold bias toward either one, unlike some Mac or PC fans..

@facebook32 Windows 8 will come with a built in anti-virus, IE10 with spellchecker, and a few knew features. My only hope is that they disable the 'metro' theme completely for desktops, and just basically integrate the features into the OS. Image mount, etc.

You can run mac on PC.

@CaldwellYSR Since when did windows automatically open the .exe file when you dowloaded them? And since when Windows are built to accept virus? For modern Windows OS, like Windows Vista and Windows 7, there is something called UAC. I don't really understand why people hate UAC that much (for poweruser, it kind make some sense, but for average joes, not really).

@CaldwellYSR I must be using something different then cos I dont remember when was last time my computer automatically opened exe file after I downloaded it.
And MacOs? Let its market share grow and you will see what magic will be happening over its "put in password" protection... and dont underestimate human ability to overcome obstacles.

@CaldwellYSR, Enable User Account Control, get a anti-virus program, ????, PROFIT

@TheRealDutchOwner Macs are much more secure than PCs. PCs are built to accept viruses. They automatically open exe files when you download them. Unix requires a password anytime something potentially dangerous occurs. There are definitely viruses to be had on Macs but you have to put in a password and let the virus happen before it can take effect.
Can you confirm what operating system you are using when this happens?

Right! I payed more than a 1000 Bugs but it was worth. Don't compare a Mac with PC. The philosophy is totaly different. It's not about hardware - usually. Okay, not in this case....

I solved the problem. First, reinstallation was possible but the problem occurred over and over again. Then I replaced the HDD with a new one, and the problem was gone. The HDD was broken somehow. However, the S.M.A.R.T status of the broken HDD was and is "good".
