It's amazing how many ways McCartney has played those chords (you know G, F,A, C etc.), so simple and yet all these melodies just keep coming. You'd think he'd run out of the melodies but so far not so!

Every Night isn't that obscure. Sure, it isn't as well known as, say, 'Maybe I'm Amazed', 'Live and Let Die' , 'Band On The Run' or 'Silly Love Songs', but it is sort off well known. I mean, he performs it on tour occasionally and has several covers. It's not as obscure as 'Man We Was Lonely' or 'Kreen-Akrore'

paul and john going seperate ways really cost the world a ton of music, there is no question of "whether they would have continued to make great tunes" i can say for a fact that we missed out on at least 20 more timeless hits!. minimum
