Paraplegic man loads ATV and drives to forest without assistance then loads up after hunting to return home.

Great stuff mate. I'm a T12 complete para from Australia.... I've got a 350cc Yamaha quad that I use for shooting. At the moment I don't load it onto vehicles as I am in the process of buying a 4x4 ute. Have you ever thought of adding an electric winch to the back of your cab in the tray and winching the quad on. I am unable to stand like yourself and I have winched the quad on a few times. Alot easier and quicker..

@AussiePrideFilms Good deal man! I did think of that....but I since built a brige onto the land, so I tow a low trailer using my van. I can then just transfer from the chair up onto the ATV and drive it off the trailer. I dont really use the truck anymore.... But yeah, a winch and 2 aluminium ramps would do the trick for sure! Oh..and I did do the chainsaw things sometime after this.....I think you'd laugh at the videos I shot...safety first ;) lol

@fitribalqis1 I had no sensation or movement for 3 months after the accident. Then I regained some very small movements. Basically my spinal chord was not sliced in two...it was damaged and squeezed by the tissue around it that swelled up after the accident. As the swelling reduced, less pressure on spinal chord, and more messages can get through....

getting off the ATF puckered my butt i would have gradded the corner of the truck bed where the break light is and the corner of the atv myself ..but i wasnt there ..anyway good vid
