A short choreography and projection sample from a group final project presented in Movement, Media, and Theory class at Marymount Manhattan College. Our group designed a dome-shaped performance space ("Media Movement Lab") in which audience members would be seated in the middle (with a 360 degree view), projections would cover the entire space, performers would interact with the audience and border the space, and real-time motion capture techniques would allow for direct relationships between sound, graphics, and movement. In addition the group created an advertising plan. This video is a small experimental sample of movement and projection using computer software Isadora.
group members:
Elizabeth Rosetty (print advertisment/graphic+projection deisng)
Meghan Murphy (projection design and execution using Isadora)
Jen Bermeo (choreography/dancer/costuming)
Guy Platt (Advertisement/Marketing techniques)
