I was diagnosed with 2 ovarian cysts a few days ago. One was 4.5 cm and had ruptured and caused pain for 4 days. The other one doesn't seem to cause any problems just yet and is 2cm at this stage. I have never had any problems with ovarian cysts in the past. I am 29 years old and stopped taking the pill 5 months ago. Can this be the cause of the cysts? Would this effect getting pregnant? My doc told me to get another scan in 6 weeks.
I am a bit scared as to how the development then will be.

About 90% to 95% ovarian cysts are benign, this means that they are not cancerous and were formed due to the normal ovary activity.
