The Celtic Heart of North America represents the amazing Celtic and Gaelic cultural experience on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. We celebrate and share the only living Celtic culture in North America. Whether it's dancing to lively fiddle tunes, learning a Gaelic milling song or tracing your roots, we'd love to share our Celtic culture with you. And you just might find it has the key to unlock your Celtic heart. Cuin' a thig sibh air chéilidh? [So when are you coming?]

CB isn't the only place to find the Gaelic. Antigonish and area has plenty. The language, music and culture is still strong.

@oshcelt Not that's it's any of my business being American, but I hope one day Scotland will use Scottish Gaelic as a first language and minimalize its use of English. Same goes for Ireland and Wales. I don't want to see these beautiful Celtic languages and cultures die. Manx and Cornish are endangered enough as it is.

Great stuff....We in the Scottish Highlands could learn a lot about reinvigorating our native culture from our Cape Breton siblings :)
