  • *sighs* Oh Lucas Lucas Lucas.....what they have done to you in Series 9....you had so much potential, so much bravery and loyalty.....now all that is gone....

  • @Long23 Lighten up! This is meant to be entertainment! Real gunfights are boring affairs that are over in moments. So is hand to hand combat. Nobody would watch this if it was 100% realistic.

I also conveniently ignored the fact that Lucas leads the Russians to Charing Cross tube station (apparently the only tube station in existence, judging from how often it appears in films) instead of London Bridge, which is where the bomb supposedly is.

  • just goes to show you: never carry anything less than a fully automatic machine gun with grenade launcher; those mexicans know what the duck they're doing you know. never the less, a charming scene.

  • now i know why it was discussed that 007 should be black...probably because of this series which suprisingly i just learned about this morning. why on earth not? yeah! worlds first James Bond!

  • @Lukeclout He's not returning for Series 10, Richard Armitage is off filming for his major part in the Hobbit, he will not even have time for Spooks. Lucas/John for all intents and purposes is dead.

  • @BetaArtemis I dont think his dead. He survived in a Gulag for 8 years and had three girlfriends i am sure lucas is alive and well. Afterall theres no lead cast for section chief in series 10

  • Firstly before you read my critics, I am telling everyone spooks is the the no1 spy drama out there today.

Shouldn't it be the SVR or GRU the responsible for foreign activities for the Russians, The FSB in Russia should be like the FBI, doemstic security ????/

  • @Long23 If you work in TV, then you would understand that not every single realism can be accounted for. Sometimes you just have to put it under dramatic license. They don't have all the time and budget to fix every single little detail. Writers/directors know that not everything can be perfect with the budget and time restraint. It's not they don't care or have a low opinion of viewers, it is simply that they do with what they have, they don't always have the luxury to make everything all real.

  • @Long23 1. He moved up to get better position and coverage, snipers always go higher ground since targets are moving.

    2. As they said, the kill squad was just moving into position, Lucas discovered them a little too early before they could cut them off.

    3. Googlemaps may have views, but it's not as effective in a firefight as you think.

    4. They split up first so that Ros and Connie could head off in the different direction, allowing Lucas and Harry to draw the kill squad to a different place.

  • @Long23 I agree with you, but then again it would be a bit sh*t if two of the main characters were assassinated in the middle of the series, wouldn't it?
