Located on Elishas Pond in Cape Cod, Camp Wingate Kirkland is a traditional sleep-away camp for boys and girls in grades 2-9. At WK, campers get to explore a full range of sports, waterfront, arts, and individual activities in a place where they feel supported and empowered.

A unique element of the Wingate Kirkland experience is the big brothers, big sisters program that pairs younger campers with camp veterans. Big brothers and big sisters help younger campers choose their schedules and often arrange weekly activities and camp events. The program gives younger campers a positive role model to look up to at camp.

For boys and girls looking for a small, tight-knit community where everyone knows their name, Wingate Kirkland provides a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for campers of all ages. Unlike camps that divide groups by age, WK functions as one collective community. Theres no doubt that Camp Wingate Kirkland is truly a place where nobody is a stranger.

Program Description
Camp Wingate Kirkland features a daily choice program where campers choose four activities each day. Counselors work with the campers to select a great schedule and offer feedback in weekly one-on-one meetings called Sunday Balancing.

While Wingate Kirkland campers can participate in intramural and inter-camp sports, the program is not overtly competitive. The camp emphasizes sportsmanship and every player gets equal playing time.

Campers finishing grades 7-9 can participate in Wingate Kirklands Challenge Program. The program is designed to challenge campers outside of the familiar camp environment through activities like overnight hikes, canoe trips, ropes course activities, and more. This program allows campers to gain valuable wilderness skills while building a cohesive team.
