a Barbie bush bean. your stems are thick on your young plants for as small as they are-I haven't seen if you use growing lights or just sunlight indoors-but they look strong.

That bean was so cute lol. Is that as big as it's gonna get??

@timwagoner1 I made a mix of 1/3 sand and 2/3 compost. My aloe plant is growing out of control in it.

Hi, I just bought an aloe Vera plant and I want to transplant it. Do you use only compost to transplant it into or do you mix it with half potting soil?

@backwoodskid13 I let the soil dry out between waterings and then give it a good drink to moisten the soil. It likes that cycle. if you keep the soil moist all the time, it could kill it. They're really easy to care for though. If you forget to water them, they really don't care. I've let mine dry out for as long as a month and it didn't mind one bit.

@flanmanflannery I think I'll do that in late summer to show how to root clippings from outdoor tomato plants to keep them inside after they die off out in the garden. Is that what you're talking about?

I hear you mivx sand with your compost and it grows really strong, but what if you dont add sand to the compost and its really strong does it do bad 4 your garden?

@gameplay1999 I mix sand in with compost just for my seedlings indoors. You can use peat moss or perlite to lighten it up a bit and help with drainage. Pure compost might work but I think it's a tad strong to be using full strength.
