Metra Elgin IL

On my way home from appying for a job in Elgin I was driving past the station and I heard outbound train ETA 3 min. so I stopped and saw this engine!!! This is one of two that are still in existnce!

I've worked for Metra for 6 years now, I used to drive the engines at our Wetern Ave yard, but now I'm the Engine Watchman out here in Elgin. The two 600 series loco sat at Western Ave for years when I first started but since the new 400 series loco suck so much and are busted most of the time they've brought the two 600 back. Just thought I'd give you the real reason they're being used. LoL!

Yes it does the only 2 left in exsitince run on this line. They used to be out of service or just used for a work train but Metra has put them back in regualr service untill they get there new engines.

#614 always runs on this line. I always see it.
