omg i saw this movie on tv and thought at first it was a doucumentry but found out it wasn't and it freaked me out soooo much (i was only like 11 or 12years old) but the part where they killed the mom orca and the baby fell out and the washed it off the boat, i cried when that part came cause it's sad......

p.s. I am NEVER watching this movie agian cause seriously it's really sad and scary and just down right weird.

if you like to act as authorize the murder of mother and baby Orka, and will act if you dislike do not like Orka ... therefore I will put no dislike or like .. I will only say that the terrible idea to kill the mother and baby Orka, let alone do it ... another proof that there are people who do not care for other people's lives! very sad!

Like many reports around here, i watched this movie in TV once... Since i was a child my favorite animal was the Orca and to watch that scene where mother and child dies at the fishingman's spear was just horrible... only now i can understand how this movie marked my personality, specially when we talk about hardfeelings and a compulsion for vengeance. i don't want to watch it ever again, it's just too painful, yet a visceral portrait of reality.

Not to mention. Orca's are pretty vicious and cruel animals themselves. They kill and eat grey whale calfs, while thier mother is trying to protect them. It's called the food chain, the one killer kills one and then another killer kills the killer.
