I was just at my Friends milking Farm on PEI (Prince Edward Island) and he had one of these it was so cool to watch and the cows didn't mind one bit, plus it free up my friends time so we could hang out longer, Never saw one of the these till today. Pretty impressive.

"HOW ARE YOU GOING TO MILK YOUR COWS IN FIVE YEARS"
bwahahahaha....

Cows know when to be milked because they get full and uncomfortable. The chips in their ears (or wherever) keep track of what they're fed and what supplements they get in a day, but they go to get milked because they feel full. Talk to a women who nurses and ask her how she feels if her baby sleeps too long. It's uncomfortable.

you are retarted

@LadyDiamond33 From what I understand they have to go into the stalls to get their grain, which isn't uncommon practice anyways.

How much? hello buddist
-
how do they know where to go when they want to be milked?
-
u r against cuz u don't know the system at all. of course the robot knows what is going on in all quarters and reacts on that.

Indeed, and go milk by hand. Way to go US ...
the statement of robotic milking being less hygienic couldnt possibly be further from the truth. in dairy equipment service, i watch mexicans and 15 year old kids late for a date rush through milking, skipping prep and pre or post dipping. this robot doesnt skip things
