I remember Tony LaRussa, who managed the AL's White Sox and A's previously, messed up the first time he tried a double switch with the NL's Cardinals. The umpires didn't allow him to do it.

I have never played above high school ball & I know how to properly do a double switch. It really bugs me that independant league coaches & umps don't know how to do this.

@CokeMachineGlo - yeah, it's pretty crazy that the manager didn't know how to do a double switch. especially in a league with no DH.
