@ThirdOfJune4444 The cd's were starting to emerged but they still had to delivered LPs do those who could not afford yet a cd player that was expensive back in the day.

Donna summer is a goddess. Beyonce and all the other female singers could never compare to donna.when you hear donna singing... You know she is the best there is, best there was, n the best that ever will be!

@hotrodindalou it seemed like an excuse for him to prove how heterosexual he is

@ThirdOfJune4444 cd's were just starting, very few cds back then...

Someday I hope she spills the beans about how David Geffen, after signing her as his first artist on his record label, consequently misjudged her material and stalled her momentum. Had she stayed with Casablanca/Polygram, maybe things would have been different - but then, she did want time to raise her new daughters after having her mother raise Mimi...
-
Why did the audience member have a vinyl LP? Didn't they have CDs back then?

Donna has a dry sense of humor, but I love her! She's my favorite singer of all time.

I think Arsenio and Donna were addressing two different rumors. It sounded like she was trying to address the rumor where someone said she made a homophobic remark and he was addressing the man rumor. He shouldn't have done that because it clearly made her uncomfortable.

Absolutely the best female singer in the world. Donna never disappoints her fans when singing at her concerts.

I remember I saw her in concert in '95 at the Universal Ampitheater in Los Angeles. She was great, except that in between songs she had a tendency to tell these long, drawn-out, corny stories, complete with silly character impersonations and accents. One story, in particular, went on so dreadfully long and was so tedious, the audience became very annoyed and people started yelling "Just sing! Just sing!". I felt bad for her. She was clearly so embarrassed. She said "It worked for Barbra."
A Beautiful woman and one of the greatest vocalists ever. Long live Donna Summer !

This was just a great phase of her career, she looked better than ever, and her album, "Another Place & Time" was such a huge hit. I can't believe it was 20 years ago.
